Project Aim

To provide secure cycle parking and general cycling related assistance to those visiting the town by bike.

The Project

Middlesbrough Cycle Centre is one of two town centre parking facilities in the Tees Valley. Located in the Bus Station in the centre of town it is a prime location for commuters and shoppers alike. Committed to promoting cycling in Middlesbrough, it provides free secure indoor cycle parking along with showers, changing facilities and an information centre.

Bike Academy

Project Aim
To provide valuable maintenance skills and support to residents of Middlesbrough, community groups and local businesses to allow ease of access to cycling and assist in making cycling a sustainable form of transport.

The Project
The Bike Academy is the training hub of Middlesbrough Cycle Centre.
It is a new project and runs alongside the Cycle Centre, ensuring ease of access to the training and support services. Several services are offered at the Bike Academy
