Lynne has always been keen to address core issues that make a difference to people lives and to gain an understanding of the challenges that people face when trying to make the most of their own potential.

To that end , Lynne designed this programme, with colleagues and now previous participants, to produce and deliver an innovative approach, to support people to be able to live a better quality of life, more independently (self management) with long term conditions and associated disabilities.

The programme has been running for 5 years, building on the vast experiences of all those involved. Lynne continues to be inspired by those who take up the programme who not only make positive changes to their own lives but also to the lives of others who share the journey with them.

In 2014 I joined the My Life Program as a participant, Having a long term health condition known as Plantar Fasciitis which limits my mobility. After completing the program I went on to volunteer with the program in order to help others understand  how crucial the My Life Program was in helping me re-gain the control of my life after a spell of depression. Since then I have become the Coordinator for the program, a role I thoroughly enjoy.

Jane Simpson

My background is in career development, training and teaching and in 2015/16 I decided to gain additional qualifications in personal development coaching and NLP. This led me to set up a small coaching and training business which then led to my involvement in the My Life programme.
As a coach with My Life I help clients to review where they are with their life right now, explore what they want in the future and then support them as they work out some steps they want to take to make change happen.

I enjoy seeing clients develop more confidence, find out what’s holding them back and also recognise their abilitiesso that they can make progress towards a more positive future.
Outside the My Life programme my business covers career and personal development coaching and training. I work with clients who have experienced redundancy, people seeking new career paths/promotion and others who are aiming to get back to work after a career break.
Whatever the context, coaching helps you look at yourself with a fresh perspective and realise that you can take control and choose to make things happen!
