Be absolutely sure in your identification. If you’re not 110%, do not chance it! When identifying, be
aware of the habitat of the plant – sea plants do not grow in wooded glades! And of the season
during which you’re looking. Some of the plants on this guide are poisonous and are given as
examples of those to avoid.
We would strongly advise washing all fruit before you eat to avoid contamination from pollutants
and animal waste. And wash your hands thoroughly when returning from any walk before eating.
